Let’s celebrate emerging local theater! Welcome to Fireside Ink Writers’ First Annual IGNITE: New Plays Festival. We will share in the truth of theater as a medium that offers a full spectrum of emotion and invites the audience to see their world in a new way.

Five local playwrights were selected to receive a $150 prize and a professionally staged reading of their new plays. This is a unique opportunity to experience never-before-seen local theater from emerging writers in your own community, produced and directed by Sam Collier and Aaron Klass.

The festival was made possible with the generous support of the Boulder Arts Commission.

Fireside Ink Writers is Boulder’s only literary nonprofit supporting emerging and established writers alike through accessible workshops as well as free and donation-based events.
